Welcome to our Website

The Huddersfield and District Family History Society has just celebrated its 21st Anniversary and we had a very successful day at Huddersfield University on 10 May 2008, when over 40 organisations from all over Yorkshire were represented. It was a very exciting first Fair for the Society and we are hopefully going to repeat the event next year.

The Society has produced a CD to coincide with this event. It consists of a copy of all of the journals which have been published over this period. The cost is only £10 plus postage and is available via The Root Cellar.

For those of you who are completely new to us, we hope you find navigating around the site easy, informative, and productive and we hope you are encouraged to come back and perhaps join our Society.
